Established in 1985, Firstronic’s facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a recognized leader in Lean manufacturing principles.
Regularly receiving awards for excellence in service, value, technology and quality. In 2017, the facility was named an “Industry Week Best Plant” and the Company as whole was named “EMS Company of the Year” by “Circuits Assembly magazine”.

Our award-winning Grand Rapids facility uses Lean manufacturing principles to provide a cost competitive U.S. manufacturing solution, close to our customers’ Midwest engineering teams. Our standardized approach to equipment, processes and personnel training enables this work to stay in the U.S., or easily transition to our Mexico facility (Juarez). We also have a proven track record simultaneously launching projects with partners, such as LACROIX Electronics.
3 state-of-the-art SMT lines which include 3D inline solder paste inspection (SPI) and automated optical inspection (AOI). This equipment allows to produce continuously and to adapt itself to the customers’ expectations.
