A strategic industry at the heart of European sovereignty

In Europe, industrial sovereignty has become a strategic necessity.
The aerospace and defense sectors, pillars of the continent’s security, are undergoing rapid transformation today.

The European programs Readiness 2030 (ReArm Europe) and SAFE (Security for Action for Europe) illustrate this: over €950 billion will be mobilized by 2030 to strengthen industrial capabilities, secure supply chains, and support technological innovation.

These initiatives reflect a shared ambition: to build a European industry capable of designing, producing, and maintaining critical electronic systems autonomously.

For over 15 years, LACROIX has been part of this dynamic, supporting sector leaders in their most demanding programs.

LACROIX, a strategic player in industrial sovereignty

With 50 years of expertise in electronics and a recognized track record in high-requirement environments — automotive, aeronautics, space, and defense — LACROIX leverages its know-how to support Europe’s technological sovereignty.

Since 2021, the Group has recorded annual growth of 15% in the Aerospace and Defense segments, with the objective of doubling this figure by 2028.

This performance is driven by an end-to-end offering, covering the entire lifecycle of electronic systems:

  • Design, industrialization, and mass production
  • Integration of critical sub-assemblies
  • Advanced functional and environmental testing
  • Operational condition maintenance (OCM)

Thanks to a DfX (Design for Excellence) approach, a secured supply chain, and certified manufacturing processes, LACROIX ensures full traceability, quality, and continuity for every critical project.

Recognized expertise in electronic design and manufacturing

LACROIX designs and manufactures embedded electronic systems and sub-systems for the most demanding applications — from flight management systems, satellite and radio communication equipment, to radar systems and solutions that enhance the passenger experience.

Application areas include:

  • Cabin & passenger comfort: climate control, onboard power management, in-flight entertainment (IFE) interfaces, smart lighting
  • Instrumentation & monitoring: high-precision sensors, measurement instruments, predictive maintenance
  • Flight management systems: fuel control, autopilot, energy management
  • Communication & radio: secure communication systems, radars, data links, IFF solutions

Each production site, in France and Germany, has CIT/CIS IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 certified teams, ensuring quality and reliability that meet the highest standards of the aerospace and defense industries.

Our production sites dedicated to aerospace and defense

Beaupréau – France

Opened in 2022, the Symbiose site is certified EN9100, PART 145, and PART 21G.
Its 19,000 m² of temperature-controlled production space houses 4 SMT lines, including one dedicated to rapid prototyping.

Its modular integration and testing capabilities ensure quality, traceability, and confidentiality for sensitive programs.
Its remote workshop in Mghira (Tunisia), also EN9100 certified, complements the setup by providing flexibility and competitiveness.

Willich – Germany

Historically dedicated to electronic production for defense since 1983, the Willich site near Düsseldorf spans 7,000 m² of workshops with 2 SMT lines.

It provides finished product integration, customized testing, coating, and encapsulation.

Its secure areas and independent servers ensure complete protection of sensitive data.
Its strategic location in the heart of Europe enhances the Group’s responsiveness and its contribution to cross-border industrial sovereignty.

Industrial sovereignty serving a safer Europe
